From Scuba Do you drive a little more then one hour to Playa Kalki. On your way there you can drive along the north coast, right through the Christoffel park, along the Shete Boca park. En route you pass the ruins of old slavery walls that used to be more then 3 meters high.
You can park your car at the small parking spot. Either gear up at your car or down at the beach. Careful walk down the stairs, it's a steep one. Go right down the stairs to walk to the beach. From here you can walk into the water.
The beach consists of large amount of coral rocks so we advise you to wear diving booties. Swim towards the bouyline, it's just before the blue line. The drop off starts at around 5 meters. You can dive either the left or the right side, just have an eye for the current. Both sides are really worht seeing.
The reef is hilly and you will find big mushroom shaped formations of boulder star corals, stove pipe sponges and brown tube sponges as well as swarms of creole wrasses and blue tangs. If you are lucky you can see green sea turltes or eagle rays.
